We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Operations Specialist to join our global production team servicing clients worldwide.
The successful candidate will have experience in Live Video Production and transmission in broadcasting, streaming and IP based environments.
The technical applicant will contribute to planning and operate on video and media assignments.The role will require some domestic and international travel. Flexibility to work during non:traditional hours and weekends is required as needed by AP 360.

Your Role and Responsibilities
:
Technical lead in London, responsible for developing, organizing and managing technical solutions for AP360 global productions, broadcast and streaming operations.
:
Operate in the field to install, implement, execute and troubleshoot technical needs on projects
:
Work alongside the global planning team to evaluate, advise and steer technical needs for deployments.
:
Prepare, maintain and manage the large in:house technical inventory used for domestic and international projects.
:
Administer and support distribution, carnets and licensing technical equipment.
:
Oversee the installation and testing of new video equipment and technologies.
:
Collaborate with AP network and engineering teams across the business.
:
Instruct partner colleagues on operative procedures
:
Proactive in researching/reviewing new and emerging technologies. Identify and present strategic recommendations with costs analysis to senior managers.

BasicQualifications
:
Minimum 3 years' experience in media and broadcasting.

Experience working with video and audio over IP.

Good understanding of network principles

SDI infrastructure

SMPTE 2110 infrastructure

AWS cloud:based video technology
:
Audio and video over IP and streaming protocols (SRT, NDI, Dante, RTMP)

UK driver's License
