Electrical Assembler

My client, an internationally recognised company, works with military, law enforcement, counter-terror units, governments, robotics and autonomous operations and system integrators on key surveillance and communication challenges.
Working as part of the site team, we are looking for candidates that can meet the following requirements:
1. Manufacturing low volume production runs along with standard product
2. manufacturing.
3. Delivery of products in accordance with the production schedule and customer requirements.
4. Manufacturing of first off units, in support of New Product Introduction projects; working with Engineering to standardize the assembly process.
5. Conduct inspections of products to evaluate quality.
6. Identify any deviations from standard to the Process Owner immediately.
7. Report equipment problems promptly, operate equipment correctly, comply with established maintenance and schedules.
8. Raise issues and concerns where support is required.
9. Assist the Stores and Procurement Supervisor in resolution of day to day issues.
Reporting to the manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
10. Good manufacturing processes understanding.
11. Good wiring and electronic equipment manufacturing experience.
12. The ability to understand requirements and to work within a small team of technicians.
13. Previous Assembly experience is crucial.
Technical competencies
14. The ability to produce a high standard of workmanship, both at PCB and equipment level.
15. Surface mount and through hole soldering skills.
16. Lightweight mechanical assembly skills.
