The product not only provides a better period experience overall in terms of comfort, ease of insertion and reliability, it also provides users with personalised insight into the baseline metrics of their menstrual health.

The role We are seeking a talented User Researcher who is passionate about shaping the future of menstrual and reproductive health.
You’ll play a pivotal role in understanding user needs, behaviours, and motivations to inform design and product development decisions.
You’ll advocate for and be the voice of the user at every stage of the product development process.
Specifically, this role will require you to: · Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on user behaviour, usability, and overall product experience through remote and in-person user studies · Identify, recruit, and manage user trials, communicating with empathy and building trust with user community · Understand and incorporate technical and business requirements into research · Present and communicate user insights and advocate for the user at all stages of the product development process, facilitating data-driven product decisions · Manage documentation including confidentiality agreements, informed consent, user instructions, and documentation for regulations · Work collaboratively with user experience, design, product management, and engineering, and leadership to create a premium user experience The candidate For the role of User Researcher, the ideal candidate will demonstrate experience or knowledge in the following areas: · 3 years of experience in human-centred user research or human factors: designing and conducting user studies, analysing study data, and sharing results · Experience with research design for a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, such as physical product trials, user interviews, diary studies, concept testing, surveys, and mobile app testing · Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous questions and select the best research method to apply during the product development process · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to translate findings into insights for the team to use · Superb organisational skills and time management · Team oriented and collaborative · Curious and proactive Preferred · A curiosity and passion for the healthtech industry, translating into innovative design solutions that resonate with our target audience · Knowledge / experience working on medical devices, or a regulated environment is beneficial The right candidate will excel at their day job first and foremost, but the nature of Emm is that we support other teams and work when needed.
It’s not expected you’ll be an expert in everything, but background experience and secondary skillsets are important to us, alongside an attitude to get stuck into whatever challenges arise.
