Band 3H, £38,719 per annum plus benefits
Part/Full Time: Full Time - All roles are available for flexible working including job sharing and part-time unless there are legitimate operational / business reasons why this cannot be accommodated.
Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen to lead a team of Asset Reconciliation Staff as part of the Vehicle Recovery Service team. This management role will see you leading the team in their role of researching information in relation to the ownership of vehicles currently held by law enforcement agencies before return, retention or disposal. The post holder will oversee the decision-making and ratification of the release of vehicles under the scheme where ownership is not established.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide day to day management of the Asset Reconciliation Team within the Vehicle Recovery Scheme.
2. Monitor and evaluate working practices.
3. Maintain and provide accurate financial information.
4. Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the team.

Requirements
Capability to travel to different locations across the Force. Due to the requirement to work flexibly, unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working, public transport may not be available or suitable at these times. For this reason, a full driving licence is considered essential.
If you are a TVP employee and have been in your current post for less than 12 months, you need to seek approval from your line manager to be eligible to apply for this role.

Vetting
