As a Children and Young Person's Support Worker you will be expected to deliver a high standard of support across various settings; supported by a team of healthcare professionals, empower service users to maintain as much independence as possible, and ensure all daily living activities are met to the highest standard of person-centred care.
We supply Children's Support Workers to a range of clients, in settings including; residential, educational, independent living, mental health, community and specialist units.

The Role
• Provide support in line with care plans to meet the daily needs of children
• Safeguard and protect young people from harm
• Assist with the development of their skills and abilities
• Support children in engaging with education
• Transport young people to appointments and activities
• Maintain daily logs, incident reports, and other necessary paperwork
• Effectively manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours
Role Requirements
• Minimum of 6-12 months of experience working with children and young people in health and social care
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or Children and Young People’s Health and Social Care
• Professional, reliable, and committed
• Experience with complex needs and challenging behaviours
• Ideally, a current, transferable DBS (registered with the update service)
• A hands-on approach to working as a Children and Young Person’s Support Worker, with a strong team-oriented mindset
• Ideally, a full driving license with access to a vehicle
