Join to apply for the Female Senior Support Worker role at Mountain Financial Printing & Design Group.
We are excited to offer a role of female senior support worker in a 24 hour supported accommodation, supporting adult females (18+) who have severe and enduring mental health diagnoses, resulting in care and support needs. The service provides 24 hour support which requires staff to fulfil sleep-ins as part of rota hours. In addition to the sleep-ins, there is also a waking night each night, with a dedicated waking night team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, inclusive, organised, and caring individual with leadership qualities to support people in achieving greater independence. The aim is to work intensely with women to achieve move-on using trauma-informed care, recovery, and person-centred practices. You will ensure a high standard of quality of life for the people supported, working in collaboration with the women receiving the service as well as in partnership with agencies involved in the women's support and care planning.
This post is an ideal opportunity to become involved in the delivery of a high quality service, giving real job satisfaction while utilising your experience in a senior position. You will have excellent line management support and development from a CQC registered manager and will join an established and experienced team. This is an experience for a person seeking to develop their career in leadership and management. The role is fully supported through a probation period with consistent supervision and access to training to assist your learning and development.
Creative Support is proud to have been providing the service in Withington for over 25 years. The service emphasizes bespoke support planning and key worker relationships. The key aim is to support women's recovery journeys and ensure pathways for greater independence are available and can be achieved.
The role will involve practical assistance with daily living, support, and delivery/access to a wide range of activities that promote personal wellbeing. Day-to-day oversight of rotas and staffing needs as they arise, along with excellent communication with line management/senior colleagues, is essential.
You will work flexible shifts on a rolling rota to meet individual needs in a personalised way. Experience in supervising staff is desirable. Prior experience and possession of a relevant qualification is also desirable.
