About the opportunity:
My client is currently seeking a Pre-Construction/Bid Manager to manage bids on projects from 10M+. Key responsibilities include:
1. Allocating bids depending on project size.
2. Scheduling deliverables for bids.
3. Booking tender meetings and managing the tender diary.
4. Completing PQQs and expressions of interest.
5. Collaborating with estimators and the technical team to develop winning proposals.
6. Ensuring submissions are of the highest quality.
7. Driving strategy, compliance, and innovation in bid responses.
8. Preparing larger quality submissions.
About the requirements:
* The ideal candidate will be currently working in Pre-Construction/Bid Management/Writing/Tendering, ideally with a civils structures/civil engineering specialist.
* Experience in civils/structures/rail for a specialist contractor or main contractor.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
* Team player with a results-driven mindset.
* Ideally have both principal and sub-contractor experience and be able to write responses to tender questions having consulted the relevant experts.
