They are the Care Dorset way. We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance function. As our Finance Business Partner, you will provide support, challenge, and drive the strategic and financial decisions and priorities, ensuring alignment with our business goals. Key Responsibilities Your focus will be on leveraging data-driven insights and collaborating closely with stakeholders, building relationships between finance and the business to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency. You will monitor, evaluate, and report performance against budgets and meet with budget holders and advise on measures to foster adherence to budget. Support budget holders to develop their financial confidence and capability, enabling them to take greater ownership of their budgets and produce accurate forecasts. You will conduct deep dive performance reviews as required on a routine basis clearly articulating outcomes and actions that need taking. Lead the Finance work-stream in relation to Business planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Lead and agree all costings. Provide commercial analysis on new business opportunities, contract renewals, and pricing strategies. You will prepare commentaries, MI packs and other papers, both standardised and ad hoc, in accordance with business priorities, communicating financial information to non-finance colleagues. Skills & Experience Required Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, equivalent or QBE ) Proven finance business partnering experience. Knowledge of accounting procedures and processes Strong understanding of how service budgets are set including staffing establishments, costs, and revenue streams. Able to support producing management accounts and reviewing. Proven experience in partnering with non-finance stakeholders to drive results. Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking skills, able to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights. Excellent communication, ( both written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior non-financial stakeholders. Good Microsoft excel skills and use of other Microsoft packages. To work across the organisation, attending meetings and occasionally may require overnight stays. Full clean driving licence
