Castle View International Holdings Limited, based in Bridge of Allan, are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. The role is hybrid working with typical week consisting of 2 days office based and 3 days home working. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Offices are easily accessible by public transport and there is also on-site parking. Ideally an immediate start date, however appreciate notice periods. The role This role offers a recent graduate or early in career finance candidate great exposure and early responsibility working as part of a small but busy finance team. Castle View is the finance and administrative function supporting a diverse group of businesses across the UK. You will take ownership of a range of finance responsibilities and can expect to work in a supportive environment that encourages progression. You will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and be comfortable building relationships with internal colleagues and external clients. You will have strong problem-solving abilities and be able to operate effectively as a team player whilst working to your own initiative. Strong double entry and IT skills are essential; especially Microsoft Excel. Full training of the account system will be given. Duties will include : · Daily bank processing and reconciliations · Purchase/sales ledger invoice processing · Processing of staff expenses, credit card and petty cash records · Payroll journal posting · Working with management accountants to ensure all group month-end deadlines are met · Reconciling monthly balance sheet and control accounts · Assisting with audit preparation · Supporting the Management Accountants and Finance Controller as required. · Participating in projects and other continuous improvements
