Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and operational management of the programme, contributing to long-term planning and maintaining high standards in teaching, research, and clinical training. Oversee the clinical experience aspect of the postgraduate programme, including management of training contracts, placement allocations, quality monitoring, and supervisor training. Collaborate with clinical tutors to enhance trainee experiences and support their development. Engage in research supervision for doctoral trainees and contribute to teaching based on your areas of expertise. Ensure the programme meets accreditation standards and quality assurance criteria in line with HCPC, BPS, and NHS guidelines. Manage and appraise academic teams and allocate resources to meet growth and performance targets. Lead curriculum development including the development of the Clinical Associate in Psychology apprenticeship Build partnerships with local NHS services and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality clinical training. Oversee the contract with NHS England ensuring that systematic processes are in place to deliver the KPIs associated with the contract Candidate Requirements: Hold a DClinPsy or equivalent qualification and be HCPC registered as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical Psychologist). Minimum of five years of post-qualification experience, with a passion for training and education in clinical psychology. Experience in teaching on and managing clinical psychology training programmes or leadership roles in NHS/clinical settings. Proven ability to manage teams, develop curriculum, and lead on quality assurance in education and clinical practice. A strong publication track record and evidence of research impact is desirable. Experience in promoting Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) within clinical psychology training is highly valued. Why Join Us?
