The Parent and Baby Unit are looking to recruit to a Deputy Team Leader to support in the leadership and management of the team.
The Successful Candidate Will
Support the Team Leader in the day to day running of the perinatal mental health team, offering support and advice to the wider team.
Work as part of the leadership team within the perinatal mental health team under direct/indirect supervision of the team leader/manager.
1. Act as care co-ordinator for a specific group of service-users and provide care under the supervision of the Parent and Baby Service Team Leader.
2. Take part in multi-disciplinary triage meetings reviewing referrals received to the team.
3. Complete initial needs assessments with newly referred service-users and offer oversight and guidance to core team members.
4. Act as named nurse/care co-ordinator with responsibility for the assessment, planning and delivery of care to the identified service-user group.
5. Act as a Change Agent and actively seek to develop practice.
6. Develop relationships and strengthen links and liaise between the different care providers.
