Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.44 an hour; this increases to £13.57 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12). We aim to accommodate your availability and provide flexible scheduling with 3 weeks' notice for shifts.
Customers are at the heart of everything we do. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll deliver high-quality healthcare services, including dispensing medicines, providing vaccinations, reviewing medication use, and checking blood pressure or blood glucose levels. Our goal is to support local communities in making the best healthcare choices.
You will work alongside experienced Pharmacists and managers, receiving support and opportunities to learn and develop.
Successful applicants will need to provide bank details before their start date.
Responsibilities:
* Support the operation of our modern pharmacies.
* Accurately dispense medications, ensuring attention to detail.
* Communicate confidently and professionally with customers, providing excellent service.
* Advise customers on ailments, symptoms, and products.
* Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
* Support pharmacy services and dispensing processes according to SOPs.
* Assess the legal appropriateness of prescriptions.
* Handle queries from healthcare practitioners and customers.
* Maintain a clean and organized dispensary environment.
* Ensure all dispensing routines are completed accurately and on time.
* Participate in promotional activities and company initiatives.
* Follow procedures to ensure safety, legality, and profitability.
* Complete training and stay updated on legal and professional developments.
Requirements:
* Experience or qualifications in a pharmacy environment.
* A desire to develop further in the pharmacy field.
