Key responsibilities for the role: Ensuring workspaces and public areas remain clean and tidy throughout and after service. Carrying out cleaning duties as needed, always following Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines. Operating and maintaining the plate wash and pot wash machines, including daily cleaning. Assisting with stock rotation and safely storing food in line with Health & Safety regulations. Using cleaning chemicals when required, while following PPE and safety guidelines. The person we are looking for as Kitchen Porter has Be smart, polite, professional and well presented at all times. Excellent verbal communication and customer care skills. Flexibility and adaptability. Demonstrate a passion for quality service and standards. Strong interpersonal skills - friendly, confident, outgoing. Strong numerical and literacy skill. To work with honesty and integrity. Experience working in a team within a hospitality environment What is casual work? There are usually a range of shifts available and opportunities for work are based on busy seasons and the annual racing calendar. Positions will be allocated on the day as part of the briefing.
