POSITION SUMMARY
Avtron is seeking to hire a Sales Engineer who can successfully build effective business relationships, is customer focused, and has strong problem-solving skills. The Sales Engineer will work closely with key customers to provide world class customer service. Is required to support customer enquiries, develop suitable technical solutions, create and submit technical quotations and support the external Sales Team. This role requires Electrical Engineering knowledge, strong communication skills, follow-up skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work across functions to address customer issues. This position will work on site at the Easton-on-the-Hill (Stamford) Lincolnshire office.
Main Purpose of the Job
Focus on the sale of Avtron product in Europe, MEA and Asia region
Build relationship with both customer and inter departmental personnel
Be the go to contact for Avtron orientated enquiries
* Maintain high customer satisfaction by identifying, understanding, and promptly addressing customers’ needs
* Manage customer enquiries from receipt of enquiry through order.
Support and cover for other team members wherever necessary to achieve business goals and targets
* Executes KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize customers service levels
Support the Avtron External Sales team with product understanding and sales support
Ownership, participation and assistance of the duties and responsibilities outlined below.
Key Responsibilities
* Generation of Technical Quotations
* Expedites enquiries and process customer Purchase Orders.
* Leverage the Sales Process
* Travel may be required up to 20%
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field or equivalent level of experience is preferred
* 2-4 years of relevant inside sales or customer service experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Experience using SAP and CRMs systems a plus
* Creative problem-solver with outstanding customer service skills
Proven Skills
* Strong Electrical Engineering background essential
