Are you ready to be an integral part of our supply chain operations and keep goods flowing smoothly to our train care centres?
We’re looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage day-to-day supply chain transactions and ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods. Working closely with suppliers, finance, and engineering teams, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring seamless operations across our supply chain.
Can You See Yourself?
* Managing Orders and Deliveries? Tracking orders, managing delivery timelines, and ensuring smooth interactions with suppliers to keep operations on track.
* Resolving Discrepancies? Working with finance and logistics teams to resolve invoice and delivery discrepancies and ensuring compliance with procurement standards.
* Supporting Procurement? Assisting with procurement activities and helping to ensure contracts are compliant with agreed terms.
* Maintaining Accurate Data? Keeping accurate supplier and inventory data in SAP/Maximo to support day-to-day supply chain activities.
* Monitoring Performance? Supporting reporting and performance monitoring to enhance supply chain operations and improve overall efficiency.
Are you:
* Experienced in Supply Chain Coordination? You have hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a strong understanding of how to keep things running smoothly.
* Tech-Savvy? You are proficient in ERP/MRP systems like SAP and Maximo and can leverage these tools to optimise processes.
* A Problem Solver? You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively to resolve issues quickly.
* Qualification-driven? You hold or are working towards CIPS/CILT Level 4 or 5, demonstrating your commitment to supply chain excellence.
* Experienced in Rail or Engineering? While not essential, experience in rail or engineering sectors would be beneficial in this role.
