The Role:
The SAP Sales Manager will work with Internal Sales, BDMS, Pre-sales, Customer Success, and Partner Teams to secure new customers through the use of tools, research, techniques, and the available resources around them to help develop a sales pipeline of SAP products cross-sell opportunities to meet the agreed targets.
The role requires the SAP Sales Manager to represent The Config Team in a professional manner in line with the company values and expectations to build and maintain trusted relationships throughout the sales cycle until customer on-boarding and handover to Account Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Identify, qualify, engage, and manage potential SAP software products customers throughout the sales-cycle, leading to successful customer on-boarding for Products and handover to Account Managers and Customer Success.
2. Proactively maintain and build a sales pipeline of opportunities for the range of TCT SAP Software product services and cross-selling opportunities to meet assigned targets.
3. Lead and mentor the BDMs within the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
4. Take a lead role in sales activities including creating and providing solution packages, RFP responses, and quotations.
Required Skills:
1. A successful background in selling ERP / SAP / IT / hardware or related software and services.
2. Demonstrates the ability to identify potential customers, generate sales leads, and manage a sales pipeline and customers through to successful new customer on-boarding.
3. Ability to lead Sales teams.
4. An understanding of Supply Chain products and services.
5. An understanding of the SAP/ERP marketing within the UK.
