Your Role as a French Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and interactive French lessons to students across the secondary school age range.
Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for the French language and culture through creative and immersive teaching methods.
Assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to help them develop their language skills.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students are encouraged to participate and excel.
Collaborate with the modern foreign languages department to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
Promote opportunities for students to engage in cultural projects, conversational practice, and extracurricular activities that enrich their learning.
Support students of varying abilities to ensure they achieve success in their French studies.
The Ideal French Teacher Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Overseas-trained teachers are also encouraged to apply.
Have a degree in French, Modern Foreign Languages, or a closely related subject.
Demonstrate a passion for teaching French and inspiring young minds to embrace language learning.
Possess strong communication and classroom management skills.
Be adaptable, proactive, and committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Have a desire to contribute positively to the wider school community.
