This is a hybrid, permanent position offering an exciting opportunity within a highly esteemed defence programme.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimise architecture solutions to meet schedule, scope, requirement, strategic objectives, cost, and supportability.
Influence at all levels from Directors to Subject Matter Experts; lead and coordinate with other Architects.
Design and implement enterprise-level solutions using SIEMENS CAD & PLM software.
Integrate solutions into existing CAM, MES, and ERP systems to support various processes.
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors for the Submarine programme.
Work closely with technology and software partners to resolve complex technical issues.
Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework that aligns business demands with industry best practices.
Manage governance processes to ensure solutions meet architecture and design quality standards.
Job Requirements:
Experience as a CAD and PLM Consultant/Architect with a broad understanding of designing and implementing solutions for large engineering programmes.
Proficiency in using architecture repository tools such as Enterprise Architect and architecture modelling frameworks.
Excellent communication skills at all levels, including business change communication events.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with JIRA and Confluence supporting agile delivery methodologies or similar collaboration technologies.
Knowledge of SAP and PE&O product suites or similar for large manufacturing projects.
