The Data Transformation Lead is a key delivery role. The role holder will work closely with colleagues across the Group Data Office, Group Transformation, Group Technology and be other enabling functions to deliver data packages of work aligned to the Transformation roadmap, Data Strategy and business plan priorities. The Data deliveries will enable the business to realise benefits on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.,
* Initiate and set goals for programme according to the strategic objectives of the organisation.
* Understand and apply Data Specific methodologies to project planning and execution where appropriate, such as data governance frameworks and data quality management.
* Plan the programme from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes taking into consideration data readiness and sequencing across portfolios.
* Lead on delivery optimisation (process improvement) where required.
* Develop and/or approve budgets and operations.
* Define and agree required level of programme resource needed for successful project delivery, taking account of availabilities, scheduling to avoid bottlenecks and conflicting demands enabling efficient realisation of benefits.
* Possess a strong knowledge of data skill sets and expertise to effectively match resources to project requirements and technical needs.
* Understand data monitoring/quality mechanisms which ensure the accuracy, integrity and completeness of data throughout the project lifecycle and embed any extra steps needed to ensure quality is designed in to all our Projects.
* Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed.
The role requires developing delivery roadmaps, writing and presenting business cases, and adopting disciplined project management and delivery execution experience to realise the business outcomes. The role requires demonstrable experience of working on complex, data driven, multi-vendor programmes., Demonstrable experience of large-scale Data Integration, Transformation or Separation programmes, in Financial Services/Professional Services or having worked on large scale legacy data/systems.
* Highly effective in dealing with major suppliers and senior stakeholders.
* Proficient leadership, organisational, delegation and team building skills for the effective management across large business change programmes.
* Ability to think strategically and communicate a vision/strategy effectively.
