We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Nurse who is a qualified Specialist Practitioner in District Nursing to join our Community Nursing team in North Bedfordshire. This dynamic team delivers responsive, high quality nursing to patients in their own homes. Main duties of the job
The Community Nursing Service operates between 08.00 to 21.00 hours and the successful candidate will work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
Access to a car in order to carry out service duties is essential.
You will have the support and mentorship of the Team Lead to develop into this role and be encouraged to complete the SPQDN if not already a qualified DN.

Essential criteria
1. holds specialist practitioner qualification in District Nursing
2. has experience of managing a caseload

3. Demonstrate evidence-based practice and upto-date clinical skills
4. Evidence of significant post registration nursing experience including community setting.
5. Post-registration qualification in a relevant clinical field
6. Relevant teaching/mentorship qualification and evidence of teaching skills.
