FIM (Fulcrum Infrastructure Management) is a management services company, managing social infrastructure assets on behalf of our parent company; global infrastructure investment company, Meridiam and is seeking a highly organised & motivated Project Administrator to join the team at its University of Hertfordshire asset.
The University of Hertfordshire student accommodation project is a 50-year PPP project which consists of the design, build, financing, and operation of 3,011 student residence rooms based on the College Lane Campus in Hatfield.
As the centrepiece of the University’s Estates 2020 Vision, the redevelopment of College Lane has been the platform from which the University has launched its long-term modernisation plan. Boasting some of the best and most sustainable student accommodation in the UK, all 21 new buildings have been rated ‘Outstanding’ by BREEAM.
FIM provides a range of operational management and financial management services to the project.
The Role:
As a Project Administrator, you will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the Uliving@Hertfordshire team, playing a crucial part in ensuring that all day-to-day operations of the office & operations functions run smoothly and efficiently.
Your ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail will be key to your success in this role.
You will be responsible for arranging Board Meetings and other routine/ad hoc meetings for the Uliving@Hertfordshire team, managing the preparation for the Board Meetings, taking minutes, producing the Board Report, and offering other support for the Boards.
You will be involved in customer satisfaction workstreams, including collating & analysing student feedback from ‘Voice of the Customer’ surveys and presenting this back.
You will be liaising with students who live in non-nominated rooms, resolving any queries they may have, and supporting the sales process to these occupants.
About You:
Working to a strong values framework, fostering a collaborative work environment will be important to you as you will form part of a small team of four operating on the project.
You will be required to confidently liaise with multiple stakeholders of various seniority, both internally and externally, so excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
You will be able to comfortably adapt & react to changing business requirements and prioritise effectively to suit those requirements.
Your analytical eye for detail will be important as you will be responsible for minute & action taking at Board Meetings, and will also be required to arrange & attend ad hoc meetings on behalf of the team.
Experience in an Administrative and/or Office Management role, and Operational/Service environment is preferable.
