Part-Time Financial Controller required in Manchester
About the role:
We are seeking a astute and commercially minded Financial Controller to service our client in their retail business in Manchester. They are a growing SME with the basics of the finance function in place. They require additional levels of expertise to bring greater visibility around the financials and help the business grow further.
About You:
You should be an experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. Preferably, you are already self-employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week.
Your expertise should include:
1. management accounts
2. balance sheet reconciliations
3. budgets, cashflow and profit forecasting
4. experience and working knowledge of Xero
5. experience of managing and leading a small finance team
6. experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls
7. be commercially experienced
8. year-end processes (but not statutory accounts)
9. experienced excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs
10. proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
