Main duties of the job The Domestic Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the Trust, adhering to established cleaning procedures and standards. Duties encompass various areas, including clinical, sanitary and administrative spaces. Key Responsibilities Daily Cleaning: Conduct thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping and polishing as required. Dusting: Perform damp dusting of surfaces and furniture to remove dust and allergens. Sanitary Areas: Clean and disinfect toilets and bathrooms ensuring a high level of hygiene. Beverage Service: Assist in serving beverages to patients. Curtain and Refuse Management: Change cubicle curtains regularly and dispose of refuse appropriately, ensuring proper segregation.
