Job summary We are looking for a highly motivated, hard working team player to join our runner/reception team at SHH main theatres. Applicants must be flexible and able to work as part of a larger team. The post will be full time and on the job training will be given. This role will be split between patient collection/return and reception duties. Main duties of the job To ensure accurate/quality controlled information is gathered together for the patient admission to Operating Theatres including ensuring timely preparation of Elective Theatre lists in readiness for the day's activity.- To ensure patients documentation is correct on arrival to reception and deal with any discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure patients are seen without delay.- To ensure that patients are sent for in a timely manner in order to optimise the efficiency of Operating Theatres.
