Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Primary and Secondary Schools (Halton Area)

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as an Unqualified Teaching Assistant in schools located in Widnes and Runcorn, Halton.
Role Overview: As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide classroom support, helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' academic and social growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
2. Assist with preparing classroom materials and resources.
3. Work with small groups or individual students, providing targeted support.
4. Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
5. Support students' understanding of core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science.
6. Promote positive relationships, self-esteem, and well-being among students.
7. Monitor and record students' progress and behavior, reporting concerns to the teacher.
8. Collaborate with staff to contribute to the school's success.
Working Details:
* Days: Monday to Friday
* Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
* Pay Rate: £12.50 – £14 per hour

Experience Needed:
Experience with various Special Needs, such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Challenging Behavior, Cerebral Palsy, Complex Needs, PMLD, or Severe Learning Difficulties, gained in settings like residential care, education, family care, foster care, youth clubs, etc.
