About the Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced business support manager to join us as a Business Administration Lead for the Social Work Academy in Children’s Social Care. The Social Work Academy is the centre for learning and development of our Children’s Social Care workforce as well as supporting new starters and recruitment pathways into social work. The successful candidate will lead on delivering all areas of business support within the Academy.
Duties will include:-
9. Leadership across the administrative team of all activity which supports the Social Work Academy.
10. Carry out regular 1:1’s and performance reviews with your team
11. Performance management of your team
12. Oversight of the Academy building
13. Oversight of the admin support requirements for all Academy lead programmes
14. Lead on and coordinate finance tasks for the Academy in consultation with the SWA leadership team
15. Lead and provide admin oversight of programme development and delivery to the SWA leadership team
16. Support the effective administration of the governance of workforce development
17. Act as a lead administrative team link with recruitment on appointments and interviews and ensure effective administration support to the Academy for the ASYE and student programmes.
18. In consultation with the SWA leadership Team provide administrative oversight and support for the online procedures manual Tri-X and coordinate necessary updates
19. Facilitating regular team meetings.
20. Support the review and development of processes
About You
You will have proven leadership skills and evidence of strong oversight of process and performance. The role involves direct line management of a team of Business Administrators. You will have strong IT and communication skills and be able to demonstrate a flexible approach with an ability to manage your workload to meet deadlines.
