Duties:
1. Supervise and lead a team of nursery staff members
2. Create and implement age-appropriate activities and programs for children
3. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery
4. Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
5. Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
6. Assist in the planning and execution of special events or outings for the children
7. Provide guidance and support to nursery staff members
Pay:
£12.34 per hour. Additional pay is available when acting up in the role. This position may lead to a management role covering a maternity post.
Qualifications:
1. Level 5 childcare qualification or above
2. Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
3. Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
4. Knowledge of child development principles and practices
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
7. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
