We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to deliver accurate and timely live data for all South American and Japanese racing services. In this key role, you will work closely with suppliers, colleagues, and customers to ensure the accuracy and prompt delivery of Podiums content and services. Beyond data provision, you will also be responsible for training, support, and resource planning, while managing service escalations between 10pm and 10am to maintain the reliability of our operations. Shift Pattern: 5x 8-hour shifts between 10pm and 10am, Monday to Sunday, based on scheduling requirements this role can be performed remotely. Key responsibilities. Pre-Race Operations: Efficiently manage pre-race data collection, preparation, and distribution. Live Betting and Results Processing: Handle live betting and results processing for overnight racing services. Customer Interaction: Respond to Racing Customer Services and customer queries with flexibility and professionalism. Supplier Coordination: Liaise with third-party suppliers and data providers to ensure seamless collaboration. Live Data Management: Effectively communicate all live data issues affecting to Shift Leaders and Operations Manager promptly. Customer Impact Awareness: Understand downstream customer impact and prioritise the immediate escalation of live data errors. Escalation Leadership (10pm-10am): Take a lead role in the escalation process during the critical hours, ensuring issues are escalated in line with procedures. Provide detailed Incident Reports and summaries to Shift Leaders & Operations Manager. Process Improvement: Collaborate with Shift Leaders to continually improve processes and procedures related to the services you manage. Training and Onboarding: Assist with training and onboarding of new/current staff. Racing Coordination: Oversee the coordination of live racing operations, including liaising with data providers and supporting colleagues About you. We welcome candidates who have a solid understanding of key betting concepts and the ability to create and maintain betting markets. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration across the team. You should demonstrate excellent self-organisation and the ability to prioritise tasks, remaining calm under pressure while meeting targets. This role requires a thorough understanding of operational processes and the flexibility to work within a fast-paced, 24/7 racing schedule, 365 days a year. You should be able to collaborate with the team to manage escalation processes, ensuring timely communication and resolution, we provide training and resources to support you in managing escalation processes effectively. Travel expenses will be covered, but you should live within a reasonable commuting distance, as overnight stays cannot be reimbursed.
