Key Responsibilities:
As part of the Quality Control team, you will play an essential role in ensuring our products meet high standards. Your duties include:
1. Quality Control and Standards:
Ensure all manufactured products meet quality standards and comply with Child Safety Legislation. Follow quality control procedures when checking goods received from couriers, external suppliers, and internal workshop production. Use QC processes to inspect and verify all goods meet the required specifications.
2. Goods Handling and Logistics:
Locate, retrieve, and organise goods stored on shelves for delivery or recall as needed. Receive goods from couriers and workshop teams, checking against orders and verifying accuracy. Report and return any incorrect or damaged orders to suppliers promptly. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods using spreadsheets and other systems.
3. Organising Installation Teams:
Assist in organising and preparing work materials for the installation teams. Liaise with the operations team and project managers to ensure all incoming and outgoing goods align with project requirements. Coordinate the movement of goods for timely delivery and installation.
4. Workshop Maintenance:
Keep the workshop and external areas clean, organised, and tidy. Ensure stock levels are maintained and assist in regular stock takes to ensure accurate records.
5. Health and Safety Compliance:
Adhere to the Company Health and Safety Policy, ensuring personal safety and that of others. Meet all health and safety requirements in the workshop and when operating company equipment.
6. Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date paperwork at all times, including delivery notes and quality control reports. Complete monthly timesheets and assist with workshop reporting.
7. Support Tasks:
Provide ad hoc assistance on-site to support installations when required. Carry out other reasonable duties as directed by company management.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Essential:
A full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to the remote location and lack of public transport options. Excellent timekeeping, punctuality, and attendance. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Ability to listen to and follow instructions accurately. Proactive and team-oriented approach to work.

Pay: £19,100.00-£25,300.00 per year
