A distinguished school in Cowley with an outstanding Design Technology department is inviting applications for a Design Technology teaching position, starting in January.
The successful candidate will be a Design Technology specialist, capable of teaching up to GCSE, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a school that is renowned for its high academic standards and commitment to fostering student development.
The Role: Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate.
Develop and refine curriculum materials that align with the school’s goals and national standards.
Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth and achievement.
Use data from assessments to inform teaching, address gaps in learning, and provide tailored support for students.
Engage in reflective practice, including self-evaluation and contributing to the school’s improvement plan.
Contribute to the wider school community by participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.
Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching Design Technology in secondary schools.
Strong knowledge of the Design Technology curriculum.
A Bachelor’s degree in Design Technology or a related discipline (desirable).
