Job Overview
Within the Amputee Pathway at NCH&C, we are looking to recruit a Clinical Support Worker into a permanent full-time post. We are a large friendly team caring for amputee patients from across the region on our ten-bed inpatient ward, located near the centre of Norwich.
Main Duties of the Job
You will work as an integral part of the ward nursing team and be responsible for providing high standards of rehabilitation care to a group of patients with complex needs. This post involves working a combination of early, late, and night shifts covering some weekends and bank holidays.
You will deliver evidence-based care to a high standard. Excellent communication skills and a supportive approach to team working within a rehabilitation setting are essential. You will demonstrate the ability to work within the Trust's behavioural framework.
An ability to manage your own learning, supported by the team, gaining new knowledge and skills to benefit yourself and the service will be vital. Professionalism is an important part of the role.
Good interpersonal skills are essential, as is the need to be cheerful and courteous at all times. Good computer skills or the ability to learn will be required for this role, as record keeping is essential to ensure high standards of care delivery.

* Education to GCSE level Grade 5 in English and Mathematics or equivalent
* Care Certificate and/or equivalent health care experience
* City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Care/Health and Social Care
