Salary : NICS Grade 7: £55,207 – £59,049 (under review)

We are seeking an inspiring and visionary leader who can drive service innovation, development and growth, continually improve service delivery and achieve strategic objectives, ensuring we continue to prevent homelessness.
About this role
As the Head of Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading strategic development and operational services including advice lines, case work, advocacy and mediation, to meet the needs of our clients and service users.
Alongside senior team colleagues, you will set the overall direction for service operations, implement best practices, and ensure high-quality service provision to meet and exceed client expectations.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will :
* provide leadership for advice functions
* be responsible for the delivery of high quality and efficient operational services to meet the needs of users
* oversee support provided to frontline practitioners who provide advice on housing and homelessness issues through a range of information and other relevant services
* in collaboration with the senior team, lead continuous improvement, service innovation and development to maximise new opportunities and organisational effectiveness in the delivery of strategic objectives
* identify appropriate opportunities for Housing Rights to build upon existing services and expand to deliver new services
* ensure appropriate resources and effective systems are in place regarding services.
This post is available on a full-time, permanent basis, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of Housing Rights.
About you
You will :
* hold a third level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, for example, housing, debt and welfare advice, business management
* have a minimum of three years’ experience in an operational role at management level
* have a minimum of three years’ experience in developing and managing multi-disciplinary teams to achieve sustainable improvements in efficiency and effectiveness and to ensure delivery

We help people with their housing and homelessness problems through our helplines and advice work. We use their experiences to bring change and improvements with our policy work. We educate and inform others working in the housing and advice sectors to help their clients.
