We are seeking a skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to support our client’s manufacturing site in Wrexham. You will lead efforts to ensure compliance, promote best practices, and drive a strong safety culture across the site. Key Responsibilities: Foster a proactive HSE culture, encouraging all employees to prioritize safety and environmental practices Manage and maintain HSE Management Systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) to ensure compliance with regulations Conduct regular risk assessments and implement effective control measures to mitigate potential hazards Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement Collaborate with plant leadership on safety initiatives and provide guidance on new equipment, projects, and processes Lead incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented Oversee safety training programs and ensure all employees are properly informed of their HSE responsibilities Represent the site during interactions with external regulatory bodies, auditors, and stakeholders Chair regular HSE committee meetings and participate in cross-functional teams to enhance safety initiatives Requirements: Proven experience in a similar HSE role within a manufacturing or engineering environment Formal HSE qualifications, such as a NEBOSH Diploma, Environmental Management Certificate, or IEMA Certificate.
