Key Details:
1. Position: Speech and Language Therapist
2. Location: South West London
3. Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + £250 starting bonus
4. Hours: Flexible (full-time or part-time available)
5. Contract: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
6. Conduct initial assessments of both new and existing students to determine the scope and nature of their Speech and Language Therapy needs.
7. Lead and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring that all activities and interventions align with the provisions outlined in students' Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
8. Manage a personal caseload, ensuring timely delivery of therapy services and consistent monitoring of student progress in line with EHCP requirements.
9. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of therapy sessions, case notes, and student progress, and provide regular progress reports.
10. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and other professionals, to ensure holistic support for each student's needs.
11. Assist with the analysis and reporting of data for research, audits, and statistical purposes.
12. Work independently, managing your own workload while contributing to the overall success of the therapy team.
Essential Criteria:
13. BSc in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent, with HCPC registration.
14. Experience or knowledge of working with autism and learning difficulties.
15. Experience working with Children.
