Position: Senior Site Engineer
Location: South Yorkshire, UK
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + package per annum

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our client's team, working on projects throughout South Yorkshire. The successful candidate will have a strong background in site engineering, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures, and overseeing all site activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all site activities comply with SHEQ policies and procedures
* Oversee site personnel, ensuring inductions, approved risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS) are in place
* Assist the project team to ensure works are constructed to the required quality
* Produce RAMS for directly employed labour and approve RAMS for other elements of the work
* Evaluate procedures, inspections, and forms, including accident reporting, permits to work, and temporary works
* Confirm accurate setting out and dimensional control within specified tolerances
* Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure they are up to date
* Communicate programme risks to the project manager and commercial manager, maintaining records for contractual correspondence
* Maintain accurate daily records of labour, material, and plant usage, including sub-contractors
* Ensure the project manager, commercial manager, and quantity surveyor are informed of variations to the works and any matters with commercial or contractual implications
Requirements:
* Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
* Demonstrable experience in setting out large-scale contracts
* * SMSTS certification
