Grade 207: This is a full time position, working primarily from home with occasional in office work on a rotating basis (Tuesday and Thursday).
The minimum and maximum annual salary that Monroe Plan believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting are $46,948 - $57,380. In addition to your salary, Monroe Plan offers a comprehensive benefits package (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements) and non-monetary perks. POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting staff in using business software, operating systems, phone systems, video conferencing equipment, and computer hardware. The position requires the development and implementation of customized information technology training for Monroe Plan. The incumbent in this position will configure computer hardware, operating systems, and business software. The position requires the identification, research, and resolution of technical problems in response to requests for technical support. Other duties require installing, supporting, and maintaining servers and other infrastructure applications, appliances, and software.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/FUNCTIONS
1. 20% Support staff in using business software, operating systems, and computer hardware.
• Apply advanced techniques in the use of Microsoft Office Suite/O365
• Assist end-users in using operating systems and computer hardware.
• Provide tutorials and other appropriate educational techniques to assist end-users.
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.
2. 20% Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
• New hires
• End of life cycle replacements
• OS Image creation and maintenance.
• Smartphone configuration and maintenance.
• Archiving & recycling old equipment
• Document, track, and monitor equipment in an Inventory Management System.
3. 20% Cybersecurity responsibilities.
• Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents promptly.
• Perform system hardening to protect against cyber threats.
• Manage antivirus, anti-malware, and other security software.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Educate staff on cybersecurity best practices and awareness.
• Coordinate with the IT team to develop and test incident response plans.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
4. 20% Install, configure, and maintain servers, switches, WAP, and telephonic hardware.
• Monitor audit software.
• Install, troubleshoot, and upgrade infrastructure/business supporting assets/applications.
• Career development and training.
5. 20% Provide backup support for system engineers and service desk when appropriate.
• Perform essential network activities under emergency mode or recovery conditions.
• Perform essential telephone system activities on a backup basis.
• Perform essential help desk activities on a backup basis.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
* • Associate degree in information systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
* • 2 years of service desk or desktop support experience.
* • 2 years of system administration experience.
* • Excellent customer service skills.
* • Good listening and oral communication skills.
* • Sound reasoning and problem-solving skills.
* • Ability to learn new skills and continue education.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or equivalent experience.
• Professional certifications A+, CompTIA Server+, MCSE and VCP6-DCV, CCENT or CCNA.
• AWS/Azure certification, OS Imaging, Jira software solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office/O365 administration, Windows OS 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Basic SQL, Android and iOS, networking technologies, and cyber security hardening.
