We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Marketing & Sales Director to join our leadership team at Board Director level. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing & sales strategies across various channels, driving growth, and enhancing brand visibility. As the Director of Marketing and Sales, you will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive marketing plans, managing a talented team across both disciplines, and fostering strong relationships with key national and independent retailers. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute integrated marketing and sales strategies to drive profitable growth across D2C owned online sales and B2B (both online and bricks & mortar) retail channels. Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing and sales team. Oversee implementation of omni-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, content, and traditional marketing. Analyse markets and competitive landscape to identify possible opportunities for new business development growth. Collaborate with our in-house creative team to ensure cohesive brand messaging and customer experience across all touchpoints. Drive potential customers through the funnel from acquisition to retention, and engagement through innovative marketing tactics and personalized campaigns. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives, using data-driven insights to test, learn and then refine strategies. Manage the marketing and sales budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI. Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and agencies. You will have… · At least 2 years’ experience at senior/director level, in a fast growing and successful consumer products business. · Experience in omni channel environment (inc both B2B and D2C). · Experience in both sales and marketing disciplines at a senior level. · Great leadership and communication skills with experience leading seasoned sales & marketing teams. · Evidence of commercial strategy execution covering the fundamentals of marketing starting with price, product, place, promotion, and positioning. · Demonstrable experience implementing successful marketing campaigns and promotional plans that drive profitable growth. · Proven ability to control and drive marketing budgets to convert prospects into sales. Big picture thinking and ability to stay focused on the main thing. Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and traditional marketing channels.
