Job Title: Safeguarding Manager

Contract Details: Full Time, Temporary
Hourly Rate: £23 p/h
About Our Client:
Our client is a dedicated organisation committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. They strive to create a safe environment through effective prevention strategies, collaboration with local authorities, and continuous improvement in safeguarding practises.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage safeguarding practises within the organisation.
Oversee safeguarding alerts and referrals during office hours, ensuring effective signposting to external agencies.
Manage training, information security, and procedural updates in line with legislation.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to mitigate risks and enhance safeguarding.
Monitor performance, report risks, and advise the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
Chair and coordinate quarterly Safeguarding Working Group meetings.Essential Skills:
Qualifications and Training -
Degree-level education or equivalent experience in safeguarding.
Level 1, 2, and 3 Children's & Adults Safeguarding Training.
I.O.S.H or working towards
Full valid UK driving license
Prevent making referrals and Channel Panel training.
FGM, Modern Day Slavery, Exploitation, and Prevent Training.
DBS checkedDesirable Skills:
Expert witness report writing experience.
Individual management review training (IMR author).
Work towards Level 4 Children's & Adults Safeguarding Training.
Experience in teaching and training delivery.Experience
Proven management and leadership abilities.
Strong influencing, consultation, and communication skills.
Proficient in IT systems and applications.
Excellent planning and organisational skills, detail-oriented.How to apply:
