Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious individual to join our Design team as an Assistant Apparel Designer to join our in-house “Own Brand” Design team at Footasylum’s Head Office in Rochdale. We are home to multiple brands across men’s, women’s, kid’s and accessories.
This role gives a great opportunity to the right candidate to work on Footasylum’s “own brands” such as Zavetti Canada, KWD, Alessandro Zavetti and many more, with excellent progression opportunities.
About You
The successful candidate should have a fashion/design related degree, with 1 year industry experience.
We are looking for an organised, self-motivator who can take ownership of their responsibilities whilst working closely with the rest of the design team.

Responsibilities
1. Assisting the design team in the development of ‘Own Brand’ ranges across multiple brands
2. Produce technical detailed CADs to send to factories
3. Manage visual overviews of the critical path to show ordered & development styles
4. Researching new emerging trends and High Street competitors, including comp shop trips
5. Administrative support to the design team, including day-to-day duties
Skills and Experience:
1. Strong communication and organisation skills
2. Passionate about current men’s fashion
3. Highly self-motivated and proactive
4. Ability to react quickly to daily changing demands and priorities
