These positions are Fixed Term for 12 months working full-time.
Swansea University has a strong reputation in Health Informatics. A long track record of information system research and development, information standards, and public health research has been consolidated within the purpose-built Data Science Building (DSB): a strategic development providing a range of anonymised linked health and other public policy data on the population of Wales with state-of-the-art High Performance Computing facilities within an ISO accredited security environment.
The SAIL Databank and the Secure Research Platform are world-class facilities for research to improve health, well-being and services. They are internationally recognised, and receive funding from the Welsh Government’s Health and Care Research Wales. Billions of anonymised, person-based records are held in the SAIL Databank and other tenancies within SeRP and subject to safeguards and approvals these can be linked to address important research questions.
We are looking for someone to:
1. Organise and facilitate internal and external meetings, seminars and events (including circulating agendas, following up actions and taking minutes).
2. Requisition goods and services.
3. Provide diary management services for their team including answering queries about availability and setting up meeting appointments.
