We have a fantastic opportunity for a band 5 Radiographer who puts patients at the heart of their practice and wants to develop in busy, friendly departments. If you are enthusiastic and hard-working, then the Imaging Departments at this busy Teaching Foundation Trust are the place for you.
The main work area is within the Main X-Ray department at Chorley & South Ribble Hospital with occasional requirements to work within main X-Ray at Royal Preston Hospital. You would be working a combination of shifts including long days, nights, and weekends in a rotation through all aspects of Plain film including theatres as well as CT and Fluoroscopy.
Imaging has a comprehensive preceptorship programme to assist you when embarking on your new career whilst offering development opportunities in many aspects of imaging for the more experienced radiographer. Students due to qualify in Summer 2025 are welcome to apply for this position.
Your responsibilities include:
1. To be a proficient, valuable, and reliable member of the Diagnostic Imaging team.
2. To provide high-quality radiographic images whilst working on rotation through the main imaging areas of the department and to provide a mobile service to the wards and theatres.
