Offer description

Dunnhumby is the global leader in Customer Data Science, empowering businesses everywhere to compete and thrive in the modern data-driven economy. We always put the Customer First.

Our mission: to enable businesses to grow and reimagine themselves by becoming advocates and champions for their Customers. With deep heritage and expertise in retail – one of the world’s most competitive markets, with a deluge of multi-dimensional data – dunnhumby today enables businesses all over the world, across industries, to be Customer First.

dunnhumby employs nearly 2,500 experts in offices throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas working for transformative, iconic brands such as Tesco, Coca-Cola, Meijer, Procter & Gamble and Metro.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of Tesco’s new media platform — a category-defining product built from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape the product vision, architecture, and roadmap for a stealth-mode platform that will transform how publishers and brand partners connect with audiences.

You’ll be responsible for orchestrating the technical platform architecture, integrating third-party components, and guiding the team from pilot to scale. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Lead early-stage definition and development of the platform product.
* Align internal teams and external partners around a cohesive product vision.
* Build scalable, modular product architecture aligned with technical and business goals.
* Integrate third-party technologies (e.g. ad servers, clean room tech) into the platform.
* Collaborate with strategic platform partners to drive mutual value.
* Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams for high-quality delivery.
* Conduct market and user research to inform product decisions.
* Define and communicate product requirements and specifications.
* Monitor product performance and iterate based on insights.

What We’re Looking For

* Strategic product leadership and entrepreneurial execution in media, ideally retail media.
* Proven experience in architecture-heavy product management roles.
* Strong technical fluency and ability to collaborate with engineering teams.
* Experience integrating third-party solutions and managing vendor relationships.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.

You’ll Thrive If You...

* Have a start-up and scale-up mentality, with success building from zero-to-one.
* Can discuss commercial outcomes with business leaders and technical feasibility with engineers.
* Champion user needs and deliver real value across the funnel.
* Operate with a founder’s mindset — proactive, resourceful, and resilient.
* Influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders behind a shared roadmap.

The Challenges You’ll Tackle

* Operating in a greenfield space with limited precedent and shifting priorities.
* Integrating partner ad servers into a broader, evolving platform while identifying and owning strategic IP.
* Balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, especially in early stages with limited resources.
