An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Progress Coach to join our outstanding ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) team, reporting to our Curriculum Manager.
As a Progress Coach with Stockton Riverside College, you will be responsible for working with cohorts of 16-18 and 19+ ESOL learners throughout the academic year. You will support with the College Tutorial Programme, track attendance, monitor behaviour, and support individual students within the department. You will provide further assistance with a range of financial, academic, social, and emotional issues that may significantly impact a student's progress.
Additionally, you will:
* Offer effective support to students individually or in group settings to support their success.
* Provide a range of holistic support to ensure a well-rounded approach to student support.
* Liaise closely with relevant staff to support students identified as at risk.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience supporting 16-18 and 19+ learners and will be committed to educational excellence with excellent oral and written communication skills.
