Integrated Maintenance & Repair Water Recycling (IMR WR) Alliance – Part of the Anglian Waste Water network, focuses on infrastructure maintenance work and is responsible for finding and fixing damaged sewers, repairing burst rising mains, and using the latest technology to fix underground assets via trenchless technologies.
What will you be doing?
Working within Integrated Maintenance and Repair unit, you as our Operational Planner will provide tactical and operational resource planning. Key responsibilities of the role include enabling, planning, and in-day management of our proactive & reactive repairs and customer jobs, delivering efficient schedules to Customer Service front line teams to provide an optimum resource fit against forecast demand. The Planning Team is the central hub for our operational teams and is pivotal in driving the delivery of our business targets and objectives.

What do you need?
1. Strong awareness & understanding of waste or water network issues
2. Excellent IT and keyboard skills
3. Excellent interpersonal, planning/scheduling (Oracle/SAP skills ideal but not essential), customer service, and communication skills
4. Able to work under pressure in a reactive environment, where change is the norm
5. Experience in a similar operational role would be advantageous
6. Desirable but not essential – Streetworks Legislation Awareness (Traffic Management Act)
