A great opportunity is available for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy, friendly finance team in Poole, on a part time basis (Approx 20 hours per week).

Seymour John are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in Poole, who are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a part time basis.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:
1. Credit Control including paying invoices and chasing debtors
2. Reconciling company accounts
3. Managing records
4. Performing data entry
5. Identifying and resolving errors in financial records
6. Providing support and reporting to Finance Manager
7. Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phone calls, scanning etc.
8. Handling communications with customers, vendors and colleagues via phone and email
9. Processing transactions, journals and updating ledgers
10. Preparing basic financial reports
11. Assisting with audits, fact checks and resolving discrepancies
12. Taking expenses
13. Posting financial data and accounts
14. Maintaining and improving the organisations accounting process
Personal Profile
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, be confident using ERP systems and Microsoft Office packages, and possess strong communication skills. This is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly finance team within a well-established business in Poole.
