Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Social Psychology/Relationship Science at University of Surrey, UK
We are recruiting for a 3.5 year full-time postdoctoral Research Fellow to work on an ESRC funded project on nostalgia in couple relationships at the University of Surrey, UK. The research fellow will be based in the School of Psychology at Surrey (in Guildford - a 35 minute train ride from London) and the project is a collaboration with the Centre for Research on Self and Identity at the University of Southampton.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct research on nostalgia in couple relationships.
2. Collaborate with the Centre for Research on Self and Identity.
3. Work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
1. PhD (or near completion) in psychology.
2. Quantitative research expertise.
3. Experience in research on emotions and/or relationships is an advantage but not required.
The closing date is Monday 9th December and interviews will be held on Thursday 19th December. The project is due to start between 1 February and 1 April 2025 depending on the successful candidate’s availability.
