Support young people with special educational needs.
Work with students aged 11-19 who have autism, learning disabilities, and communication challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment.
* Provide targeted support in small groups or one-on-one, tailored to each student's needs.
* Establish trust with students, ensuring they feel safe and included.
* Use innovative strategies to foster positive behaviour, adapting your approach to each student's needs.
* Assist students with personal care when needed, respecting their dignity and privacy.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with SEN students.
* A Level 2 or higher qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred).
* GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/Level 2 or above).
* A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
* A creative approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
