Mission of the position The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for analysing, maintaining, and improving organisational performance. Carry out action plans to improve operational performance measurement General: Improvement of operational performance, compliance with Continuous Improvement roadmap commitments, deployment of Lean manufacturing Culture. Functions And Responsibilities Leading Lean culture and Continuous Improvement initiatives on CAF Rolling Stock UK sites Implement TIER Accountability Process across Factory Promote a culture of operational excellence by anchoring and supporting implementation on the ground Pilot and support Kaizen projects target using Lean tools to target and benefit from improvements. Proactively identify improvement actions to deploy to increase our operational performance Deploy Value stream Mapping process on a regular basis Deployment in the field (training digitalization of tools) of first-level continuous improvement methodologies (suggestions idea, kaizen, 5S, 5 whys, PDCA, A3, etc.), Gemba Encourages, participates.
