Exam Consultant £25,000 - £31,000 FTE Location: Remote with travel to sites or office upon request.

Due to our continued success, we are now recruiting a MIS Data Consultant to join our team. Do you have at least 2 years relevant experience within an Exam Officer/Manager role at a school/sixth form college? Are you familiar with the following MIS Packages: Arbor, Bromcom, Integris, ScholarPack or SIMS?
The Exam Consultant's main aims are to lead and manage all aspects of the exam cycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality exam management services to schools and clients remotely. The role emphasizes strategy, team development, service innovation, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, self-directed, with excellent interpersonal skills, and possess good organisational and problem-solving skills. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deal with stressful situations.
Responsibilities:
1. Support and manage the entirety of the examination cycle for our clients/schools.
2. Work closely with school facilitators, developing and managing training needs where required.
3. Collaborate with SLT and HoDs to establish Awarding Bodies/Qualifications being offered and to organise administration for registrations and entries.
4. Collect and submit entries adhering to external stakeholder deadlines, ensuring that these have been checked and approved by appropriate staff prior to submission.
5. Manage ongoing entry amendments/withdrawals.
6. Support staff / submit NEA marks to relevant Awarding Body and upload sample requests as required.
7. Create base data for Internal Exams. Download and import base data where applicable for external exams.
8. Generate seating plans for Internal and External Exams and exam timetables for candidates.
9. Provide continual support to teaching staff with exam-related queries and provide information that is relevant to specific departments.
10. Download and import results for external examinations.
11. Provide reports/analysis on examination results for Senior leaders and school staff as required, including processing special consideration requests and Enquiries about Results.
12. Attend regular remote meetings and occasional on-site meetings at schools to strengthen links.
13. Provide ICT skills and exam knowledge to support exam management across the company and schools, to strengthen the whole education team.
14. Contribute as an effective and collaborative member of the ONTO Family.
15. Any other duties as reasonably required by any manager of the ONTO Team.
16. Participate in the ongoing development, implementation and monitoring of ONTO plans.
17. Attend regular company meetings as required and make a positive contribution during meetings.
Skills/Abilities
Essential:
1. 2 years+ relevant, successful, and appropriate experience within an Exam Officer/Manager role at a school/sixth form college.
2. Working knowledge of MIS Systems preferably SIMS, Bromcom, Arbor or ISAMS, as well as other third-party MIS’ and software.
3. Evidence of working within a team.
4. Evidence of good organisational and problem-solving skills.
5. Experience of working with school data at Secondary level.

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Hold a Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle.
