We are looking for a well-organised, reliable, and proactive individual to support our school's governing body. This role is ideal for someone who has strong administrative skills and wants to contribute to the success and smooth operation of the school.
About the role: Clerk to Governors
You would play an essential role in supporting the work of the governing body, ensuring that our meetings and decisions are well organised, accurately documented, and effectively communicated. This is a flexible part-time role, requiring a commitment of being available during the day and in the evening. The key responsibilities include:
* Organising and scheduling meetings
* Taking and distributing minutes
* Managing governing body records
* Providing guidance and support
What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate for this role will:
* Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Be proficient in basic IT, including word processing and email
* Be able to manage time effectively, work independently, and meet deadlines
* Maintain confidentiality and understand the importance of handling sensitive information with care.
Experience in a similar role or in education is helpful but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
